BUMALA

Features:

  • Want to work with TPC to be able to run similar training
  • 2 elders and 2 deacons
  • Go to outlying villagers, called ‘focal area evangelism’, each week for evangelism and meeting in homes
  • Studying Philippians on Sundays
  • In Bible Study doing the 10 Commandments, and after that it will be the Lord’s Prayer
  • Sunday school has 30 children, and using materials from South Africa.
  • Women’s Conference
  • At Bumala there is a Distance Learning Course, using materials from South Africa (Mwihanyo), and 17 students come from different churches

Current needs:

  • Application to be an independent church as ‘Reformed AIC International’

Prayer requests:.

  • Registration with Government
  • Bible Studies
  • Children
  • Students
  • The library which has 3000 books
  • Means of transport
  • Training pastors in agriculture so that they can produce their own food.

 

FUNYULA

Features:

  • Is a town a place where people come and go.
  • Many left attending because of building project
  • TPC opened Simon’s eyes
  • Bible study on Hosea
  • Weekday meeting on Fridays
  • Sunday afternoon training on expository preaching
  • Teaching 2 deacons and former Baptist pastor how to preach
  • Some being converted through evangelism

Current needs:

  • Wondering how to put up walls to roof level

Prayer requests:

  • To be able to finish building the building

  • Brother who wants to go to Nairobi
  • To help sister church in Bukhalire
  • Been living by faith and has had to take out bank loan.
